Every other Saturday, we mobilize our Share Team to make a real difference in the lives of our homeless neighbors. Most are poorly equipped for day to day survival. Their need for basics like food and water, shelter from the elements, blankets to keep warm, appropriate clothing for the weather conditions and especially proper foot care is significant.
These items are made available to our neighbors in need.
Illness and Disease is common aong our homeless community. Over the counter and prescription medications that couldhelp with symptoms is often not an option. We help with this as well as offer basic first aid, health screenings and OTC and prescription meds. We also help with respite accomodations for those who qualify.
Emergency Resources Impacting Change
A major concern of TFP is for Fathers and their chidren who find themselves in distress financially, facing hardship, and homelessnessness. There is NO emergency shelterfor fathers if they suddenly become homeless with their children and resources are limited. Our Emergency Fund will help get Fathers and their children off the steet
Transportation is a big hurdle that our homeless neighbors must overcome. We work to provide access to transportation by providing bus passes, ride share, bicycles.
